Read the Notte skill and follow its setup instructions when setting up Notte or building browser automation. This is the shared source for CLI setup, authentication, and the browser-to-code workflow.
Use Link’s native SDKs to retrieve an approved payment credential, then fill browser fields through Notte’s CDP connection. Keep credentials out of agent prompts and logs. The runnable example fills an in-memory test form and checks its values. It accepts only Link’s published test card, never submits a payment, and closes the browser on success or error.

Setup

Set NOTTE_API_KEY, your application’s LINK_ACCESS_TOKEN, and LINK_SPEND_REQUEST_ID for an approved test-mode card request. A Stripe secret key is not required. Link CLI supports spend-request create --test; follow the wallet setup and approval instructions.
From examples/stripe-link, run uv sync --locked and uv run python python/demo.py with Python 3.11 or newer.Python example
The example has real browser and native SDK protocol tests. Wallet approval and credential issuance have not been live-tested; see the validation details. For an actual checkout, request approval for the merchant and final total, submit once, and verify the merchant’s order confirmation. Approval alone does not confirm a purchase.
