Read the Notte skill and follow its setup instructions when setting up Notte or building browser automation. This is the shared source for CLI setup, authentication, and the browser-to-code workflow.
fx is Vercel Labs’ coding agent. The runnable TypeScript example embeds its native Zig engine through libfx and exposes one Notte-backed read_page tool.

Set up

Use Node.js 24+, a Notte API key, and your configured model provider. Follow examples/fx/README.md for the embedded engine or fx CLI MCP configuration.

How it connects

Each embedded request owns a three-minute Notte session. The native engine calls a Playwright tool over CDP; the model receives page titles without CDP credentials. The connection, engine, and owned browser close in finally, including after provider errors. Native engine tool calls, real browser results, redacted navigation errors, and provider-401 cleanup are tested with a scripted model transport. Paid model turns, CLI account execution, and hosted deployment remain unverified.
