Read the Notte skill and follow its setup instructions when setting up Notte or building browser automation. This is the shared source for CLI setup, authentication, and the browser-to-code workflow.
Record browser tasks in Braintrust with the Python and TypeScript examples. Traces include timing, the Notte session ID when available, and the page title on success or error details on failure.

Set up

Clone the Notte repository and open examples/braintrust. Its README includes installation commands and runnable projects. Set NOTTE_API_KEY from Notte, BRAINTRUST_API_KEY from Braintrust API keys, and optionally BRAINTRUST_PROJECT. The default project is notte-integration-tests; Braintrust creates it if needed.
Use Python 3.11+ and uv. Run uv sync --locked, then uv run python python/demo.py.

Inspect a browser task

The example opens a page, reads its title, and returns a trace_url. Open that link to inspect the result or filter your project’s logs by metadata.session_id. Each attempt owns its browser and closes it on success or error. The example flushes its trace before exiting. You can keep your model-provider instrumentation inside the browser span to view model calls alongside browser work.
