Read the Notte skill and follow its setup instructions when setting up Notte or building browser automation. This is the shared source for CLI setup, authentication, and the browser-to-code workflow.
Source: node-sdk/src/session.ts Start the session: creates a new session on the server. 503, 529, and refused connections follow the client’s retry policy (NotteClientConfig.maxRetries, honoring Retry-After). Other 5xx errors are retried up to SESSION_START_TRIES times. With client retries disabled, 529 waits CLUSTER_OVERLOAD_RETRY_DELAY_MS instead. 4xx errors are never retried. Managed-auth sessions wait for readiness by default. Pass { wait_for_authentication: false } for an explicit nonblocking start, then call waitForAuth() before executing actions or connecting over CDP. Cancellation during creation waits for its response so the new session can be closed. Cancellation or failure during the startup wait also closes it. Prefer session.use(async session => { ... }), which also stops the session.
