# delete

Delete a session file.

```typescript theme={null}
RemoteFileStorage.delete(fileId: string): Promise<void>;
```

## Parameters

<ParamField body="fileId" type={"string"} required>
  ID of the session file to delete.
</ParamField>

## Returns

```typescript theme={null}
Promise<void>
```

Resolves when deletion succeeds.

## Raises

* NotteAPIError if the storage API request fails.
* InvalidRequestError if storage has not been bound to a session.
