# Get started

<Tip>
  Read [the Notte skill](https://notte.cc/skill.md) and follow its setup instructions when setting up Notte or building browser automation. This is the shared source for CLI setup, authentication, and the browser-to-code workflow.

Workspace secrets store, the counterpart of the `/secrets` endpoints.
Secrets are scoped by namespace: `llm_provider` keys are used by agents and
scraping, `function_env` values are injected into function runs.

```ts theme={null}
await client.secrets.store({ namespace: 'function_env', name: 'MY_TOKEN', value: 'xyz' });
const secrets = await client.secrets.list({ namespace: 'function_env' });
```

```typescript theme={null}
import { NotteSecrets } from 'notte-sdk';
```

```typescript theme={null}
new NotteSecrets(client: NotteClient): NotteSecrets;
```

## Usage

* [list](/typescript-sdk-reference/nottesecrets/list): List secret metadata (never the values), optionally filtered by namespace.
* [store](/typescript-sdk-reference/nottesecrets/store): Store (or overwrite) a secret and return its metadata.
* [get](/typescript-sdk-reference/nottesecrets/get): Read the value of a secret by name within a namespace.
* [delete](/typescript-sdk-reference/nottesecrets/delete): Delete a secret by id (the `id` field of `SecretMetadata`).
