# Inngest AgentKit

> Give AgentKit agents browser tools with Notte.

<Tip>
  Read [the Notte skill](https://notte.cc/skill.md) and follow its setup instructions when setting up Notte or building browser automation. This is the shared source for CLI setup, authentication, and the browser-to-code workflow.
</Tip>

Use [Inngest AgentKit](https://agentkit.inngest.com/) with a Notte browser tool. The TypeScript example in `examples/inngest` in the [Notte repository](https://github.com/nottelabs/notte) lets a Claude agent read a page title through Playwright.

## Set up

Use Node.js 24+, a [Notte API key](https://console.notte.cc), and an [Anthropic API key](https://platform.claude.com/settings/keys).

Clone the [Notte repository](https://github.com/nottelabs/notte), open `examples/inngest`, and run `npm ci`. Set `NOTTE_API_KEY` and `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY` to your keys, then run `npm start`.

The agent calls `page_title` for `https://example.com`. The tool result contains `title: "Example Domain"` and the stopped session's `session_id`.

Each tool call owns a separate session and closes it on success or failure. No local browser installation is needed. Extend the tool handler to add the browser actions your agent needs.

This example runs AgentKit directly. For durable execution and tracing, follow [AgentKit's Inngest setup](https://agentkit.inngest.com/getting-started/quick-start).
